As you might expect, President Trump and Joe Biden are not exactly getting along. Not that they ever did.
Trump has allowed the GSA to begin preparations for the transition, but the battle for fair and honest election results continues.
And according to reports, it doesn’t look like Joe Biden should expect a warm welcome any time soon.
From NBC correspondent Ken Dilanian on Twitter:
Per my NBC News colleagues: Trump may announce for 2024 on inauguration day. Either way, he won’t attend the inauguration and does not plan to invite Biden to the White House or even call him.
According to some reports, Trump will not invite Biden to the White House during the supposed transition.
It seems like a snub, but why should Trump welcome Biden with open arms with the stance he is taking on the election?
It could also send the wrong signal to millions of Americans who are patiently waiting for the results of numerous lawsuits, challenges, and hearings.
Over the last few weeks, plenty of reports and signed affidavits have come out, alleging abuse at the polls. There is no reason Trump would roll out the red carpet if he continues to battle for an honest election.
The media is fighting hard to get this all over with. They don’t want Americans questioning their narrative, that very few “irregularities” occurred during the election.
Even talking about it could get you banned from certain social networks.
But Trump is not going to let the left-wing media win. And he would certainly not pretend like everything’s okay, by inviting Joe Biden to scope out the White House.
Be sure the media will spin this as much as they can, to suggest Trump is a “sore loser” who can’t face the facts. But if there’s one thing we’ve learned over the last few weeks it’s this: the media has a hard time facing reality.
Do you think Trump should invite Biden to the White House?
